ORGANIZATIONS WITH CHARITABLE DONATIONS
This information is for any organization that may have recalled product amongst toys available for charitable distribution this holiday season.
Please note that no recalled product was ever donated through the Mattel Toy Donation Program or the Mattel NACHRI Children's Hospital Toy Donation Program. However, your organization may have received donations of recalled product from other sources.
Collecting all recalled toys is of foremost concern to Mattel and this information is intended to help organizations with questions about recalled product in preparation for charitable toy donations this holiday season.
If you are an organization that distributes unopened toys for charitable purposes, and you believe you may have recalled product amongst your toys for donation, we ask that you follow these procedures:
- Visit the Product Recalls page for a complete list of recalled products. Because some of the identifying information for recalled product is only visible when the product is open, we ask first that you confirm to the best of your ability the number of toys you have in your possession that may be impacted by any of Mattel's recent voluntary recalls.
- Once you have identified the toys you believe have been impacted by Mattel's voluntary recalls, we ask that you call Mattel Consumer Relations at 866-830-4131. Please be prepared to provide the name and contact information of your charitable organization. We will work with you on product return and replacement.
